Effects and Intervals
After 2 weeks, the size begins to gradually reduce, with the maximum effect visible within 6–8 weeks.
The muscle size gradually returns to its original size over 3–6 months, so for lasting results, re-treatment is recommended every 3–5 months.
Precautions
Through post-treatment care, you can achieve even more definite results
Do not Worry
Slight stiffness, minor bruising, or swelling may occur but will subside shortly.
Avoid
For 3–7 days post-procedure, avoid heavy drinking, smoking, saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, vigorous exercise, or intense facial massages. Refrain from eating overly tough or hard foods.
For a month, avoid strong massages or pressure on the treated area.
Be Careful
Consuming excessively tough or hard foods may reduce the maintenance period of the effects, so it is better to avoid them.
You Can
Wash your face and apply makeup 2–3 hours after the procedure.
Treatment Q&A
Q. What is a "unit"?
A unit refers to the dosage of Botox. The appropriate dosage varies depending on the size of the muscle. Larger muscles require higher doses, while smaller muscles require lower doses. During your consultation, we assess the muscle size and recommend the appropriate dosage.
Q. Can I get calf Botox while pregnant?
Botox treatments should be avoided during pregnancy as they can affect the fetus. Although laser treatments may not have a significant impact, the stress from pain might affect the fetus. Therefore, we do not perform Botox or laser treatments during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
